Best time to visit
October to April is the most comfortable season, with warm days and cool evenings. In summer we start tours early so you see the Pyramids before the midday heat.
How many days in Cairo?
Plan at least two days: one for the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum, one for Old Cairo and the Royal Mummies. Add a day for Saqqara, Alexandria or the White Desert. See our Cairo day tours.
Visa for Egypt
Many nationalities can get a visa on arrival or apply online in advance on the official portal visa2egypt.gov.eg. Check the rules for your passport before you fly.
Airport arrival

What to wear
Light, comfortable clothes and good walking shoes. For mosques and churches, cover shoulders and knees; women should bring a light scarf.
